Jerry Hibbs

Jerry has been the Music Minister at Southside Baptist since 2006. God has called Jerry to serve God through music since 1996. He leads both contemporary and traditional music in the Sunday morning worship service and for special events.

Jerry has a warm smile and positive spirit and a wonderful singing voice. His hometown is Manor, TX, a small town just east of Austin. Jerry served as music minister at Lanier Baptist and Eternal Faith Baptist, both in Austin, at Bluff Dale Baptist, and now at Southside.

In addition to serving at Southside, Jerry teaches special education English at Granbury High School. He is married to Jennifer (also a teacher), and together they have two sons, Austin and Cameron.
